If you're looking for a new spread to try, check out the OMG's Sunflower Flax Butter. This is especially great for those that love the bitterly taste of flax and sunflower seeds! This butter gives you a daily dose of Omega-3's while being low in sugar, rich in Lignans, with no Trans Fats. It is also Kosher certified, and free of any Gluten or GMO's.

 OMG's Sunflower Flax Butter in chocolate is a nice alternative to other chocolate spreads out there. I love that it is a lot healthier than most and that it contains great ingredients for your body. The texture is smooth and creamy, yet thin enough to be able to spread easily. The flavor is strong of sunflower seeds with a mix of dark chocolate giving it a nutty taste. I wish the chocolate taste was more prominent but it's something to get use to. I tried a spoon of this butter, as I do normal peanut butter, and found it is very potent straight from the spoon. I also mixed the butter in a banana strawberry smoothie and it tasted good but once again, very strong. It will take some time to get use to this taste but overall it is pretty good and a great alternative!

This 2-in-1 Flexible Floor Stand LED Lamp & Mount is amazing! It holds a phone or iPad making it easier to read, play games or watch movies on your device without having to hold it in your hands! Plus it doubles as a lamp! We love it! 

The set up was so easy to do. You just screw the pole into bottom plate with the provided tools, and connect the poles together and it's ready to go. It has a USB plug with an adapter that allows the light part of the lamp to work. And the on/off switch works with just a click, allowing the lamp to be on bright with one click, then brighter with the next, and the 3rd click turns it off. 

The mount is easy to work with and holds our Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phones perfectly. It is also made to hold a tablet. This is such a great product and makes reading on the kindle, watching movies, or playing games hands-free and so much easier. It's freeing for your hands so you can just lay in bed or on the couch while using your device. And if you just want to read for the night, the lamp shines bright and looks great by your desk, couch, or bed. 

The poles can reach the height of 6ft or lower, so it can really sit up high. And the adjustable lamp neck is such a great feature for the best look. We really love this lamp and might have to get another for both bedsides!

Kidcraft Transportation Station Train Set

   When I first saw the Kidcraft Transportation Station Train Set for ages 3 & up, I thought it was adorable and wanted to give it to my 3 year old nephew as a gift. But in receiving it, I don't feel like it's very gift friendly. The box it comes in isn't very appealing, and the set is ridiculous for a 3 year old to set up. Even I had a hard time with it. The pieces all come individually wrapped in either foam paper or plastic, which protects the items, and keeps it organized. So I opened all the parts, and begin setting the train set up. 

The instructions included are hard to understand, but you get the hang of it after a bit, only to find that some of the wooden train tracks do not fit together well at all. I found myself having to force the pieces in order to fit. It seems that the cutting was done poorly, so a lot of the tracks fit like wrong puzzle pieces. And then you have to screw some of the pieces together to make the Transportation Station Area, which isn't 3 year old friendly so a parent will definitely have to help. I put most of the set together, and found it is still pretty adorable once put together. But such a pain putting together. I am now uncertain if I will gift this to my nephew, because it just doesn't seem like gifting quality. We'll see though. I do love the little wooden pieces, such as the trees, tractor, and two little people. I wish the airplane and light post were wooden; But they are made of plastic, as well as some of the other pieces. I like that this set includes a mat to build the tracks on (I realize I built mine backward on it lol) but there are some flaws with this product and I really do not feel it is worth such a high price.

There is truly something for everyone, making it the perfect go-to shopping site for fun and unique items. I recently had the opportunity to review a handful of items from their site, mostly items to add to my kitchen. 

I am very pleased with my purchase, finding items from their easy to browse pages was a lot of fun but hard to choose just what I wanted because there are so many items I love! I decided to go with some useful items that I needed around the kitchen, and a little something special for my husband since both me and my son had some fun with purchases. 

The first item I chose was the 6 Piece Baker's Storage Set, so I could store my sugar and flour, as well as other items, in organized little containers. Each container is a different size and contains a vacuum sealed lid to keep goods fresh and long lasting. You can store many different things in these containers, including snacks and homemade goods. I was most excited about the largest container, as it holds up to 5lbs, making it perfect for holding flour. My excitement quickly faded when I saw the bottom was busted, so I can't use it to hold flour like I hoped. I ended up taping the bottom of the large container, and am currently using it for cookie/cracker snacks. It's holding up, but without the tape, crumbs can easily fall through which is why it can't be used for flour. According to some reviews I've read, this seems to happen to quite a few shipments of this product. Pretty disappointing...But the other containers are as they should be so that is at least good.

I'm not a big Math person, but I thought the Proof is in the Pudding bowls were so cute! I love the "British-style pudding basin" size and creative Math theorems to read with every bite. Inside the bottom of each bowl holds the answer, or proof, to the theorem. These make such a great gift for Math teachers or those that really just love Math. Four bowls come in this set. They stack together for saving space in the cupboard and they are heavy duty, durable pieces that look great for any snack. I think they're perfect for holding ice cream :)

Since I received a set of bowls, I decided I needed some new plates to go with them. I went back and forth on the plates I would choose, but these ones caught my eye. The Stoneware TV Dinner Trays speak nostalgia all over them. The days when we would get frozen microwave dinners as a kid, though those trays were black, I was just reminded me of them, and they're just so stinkin' cute! These plates are made of durable heavy duty stoneware. They're amazing because you can even use them in the oven! I love the little compartments so you can separate your food as needed...They came in handy when we got takeout and wanted each item in its own little spot.

Because the previous plates only came in a set of 2, one for me and one for my husband, I realized I should probably find a new plate for our son to enjoy too. That's when I found the Mr. Food Face Plate. I have wanted one of these plates for years now, so finding that Uncommon Goods sells them made me happy! These plates are so much fun and make eating meals even funner. My son always looks forward to the new funny faces that show up with each meal. It's really a treat to get to enjoy this kind of foodie fun. The plate is made of food-safe ceramic so it's best for kids ages 3 and up. This is probably my most favorite item in the whole box, because it is just too much fun. The options are endless, making this guys funny face and enjoying meal after meal full of laughs.

The last item of my Uncommon Goods package were two pair of men's socks, purchased especially for my hubby.  He loves to wear bold and fun socks with his business attire, so I chose the Men's Burger Socks because they are silly and he loves burgers, and the Men's Bullseye Socks, because the Army ones weren't available haha. Both pair of socks our equally comfy, made of a cotton and spandex blend, while correct to fit. The designs are bright and bold, making them fun for every day wear!

National Geographic Kids Super Readers Club

I am a huge fan of National Geographic books that are filled with so many fun facts and stories. They are great go-to books to use in our homeschooling adventures! 

I love that National Geographic Kids has level reader books, so your child can grow with them based on their reading vocabulary. Each Super Reader book is rated starting with the Pre-Reader where your child is ready to begin learning how to read, to 1: starting to read, 2: Independent Reader, and up to 3, a Fluent Reader, making it fun and exciting ranking higher as they get better in reading. A great way to keep them interactive with their reading enjoyment. Hop, Bunny! as a Pre-Reader filled with easy to read words for your beginning reader, as well as vocabulary tree's to understand words better and a photo with each. This book is so cute, it would be a perfect addition to an upcoming children's Easter basket! :)

Follow Me! and Red Pandas are Level 1 Readers, which contain a little bit more words and sentences for your budding reader. There are also colorful boxes around each page, to help encourage your little ones to look around as they read and find new information to learn on. Lots of fun facts in these ones! 

They even have Spanish books, such as the Level 1 book: Los Dinosaurios. Great for bilingual children, or those learning Spanish as a second language. Very fun to go off of.

I didn't receive any Level 2 books, so on to Sacagawea and Mars for the Level 3 Reader books. These are perfect for your fluent reader, as there is a good amount of reading on each page, but still photos to keep your child interested, and little definition bubbles to teach your reader the meaning of bigger words used. There are even fun facts and silly jokes in this one.

I love all of these Level reader Books! The Animal Ark book makes a fun family reading time story. National Geographic Kids makes many many books your whole family can enjoy. The bright and colorful stories not only bring in facts and information, they also help build your child's imagination and future interest in reading. Paired with the Super Readers club, this is a great way to keep your child motivated in reading!
