The Princess Twins And The Birthday Party - Book Review

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

The Princess Twins And The Birthday Party by Mona Hodgson with picture by Julie Olson, is an adorable little girls reading book on a lesson in kindness. This "I Can Read" book is a beginner reader filled with simple sentences your little learner can read. The story is about twin princesses, Abby and Emma, who are planning their birthday celebration to have with their friends. Both girls are decked out in their beautiful princess dresses, enjoying their birthday festivities when Emma notices their friend Beth has gone missing. She finds Beth leaving the party, looking very sad. Emma finds out that Beth feels too ordinary for the twins party, in her "plain dress", so she shares her beautiful princess crown with Beth! Beth feels glamorous and decides she is indeed good enough to be part of the party, while Emma makes sure that Beth knows she is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside too.

This is a very sweet read for beginner readers. A book every little princess would love to read. The images are very cute with background details and short sentences that are easy to read. I love that it teaches kindness in sharing, and lifting others up to make them feel good. This is the perfect book to give my niece for her 6th birthday coming up, as she will be learning how to read and can enjoy the sweet story of the Princess Twins.
