Baking With Morning Pep's Blanched Almond Flour

Disclaimer: I received the following product(s) in exchange for my review. All opinions my own.

Morning Pep Blanched Almond Flour is made from finely ground skinless almonds that have been blanched, giving a moist texture and rich buttery flavor to many breads and desserts. It is chocked full of protein and dietary fiber, while being low in carbohydrates and rich in calcium, iron, and magnesium. Almond flour is a good gluten free substitute, because it has a similar taste and feel of wheat, and gives you savory flavor, and a rich and smooth texture.

You can use Almond Flour as a substitute for wheat flour, used in cakes, breads, cookies, muffins and more! You can even use it to bread meats or vegetables! Almond flour is so versatile and healthy for you. I have never tried Almond Flour before this, so I did some researching on how it's used and in what foods. I found everyone saying you can use it just like you do flour. So I found an easy pancake recipe to use my Almond Flour in and it wasn't as easy as I expected. The pancake batter was a different consistency from the ground almonds, and it seemed to cook a lot faster then normal. So I decided to turn that pancake batter into a glass pan to bake, and the pancake squares came out perfect. Almond flour will give your food a nutty taste, making it delicious to eat with chocolate spread!

I love that Almond Flour is a good source of fiber and is really good for you. I can't wait to make more delicious pastries and breads. I like that each bag has a resealable top, although somehow I ruined mine and it wont seal back, so when you open the bag for the first time, do so very carefully :) I have been storing my Almond Flour in the fridge and the bag says it should stay good for up to 12 months in there. I will be making more foods using my Almond Flour, so stay tuned for more posts in the future!

Morning Pep's Almond Flour is 100% all natural, certified kosher, and made of gluten free blanched almonds. It is considered pasteurized by the USDA and The Almond Board of California, with no additives or preservatives. You can find it available for purchase on Amazon, in a 5lb. or a 2lb. bag.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only
recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
