A Trip to Market Of Choice

Market of Choice holds a variety all kinds of foods!! Up until recently, I had never really shopped there but one day while me and my hubby were out and about, we decided to check their for the Unreal candies I had looked for in the past for a review I needed to do.

While we were there, we came across some goodies. Well, I did anyway. The chocolate isle! lol. If anyone knows me, they know I like my chocolate. Especially trying new chocolate mixtures, like Chilies & Cherries in Dark Chocolate and Peach & Pecan in Milk Chocolate. These flavors were intriguing to me so I got them to try out. I thought it was cute that in each Chocolove bar, there is a love poem inside.

The chocolates themselves, honestly, weren't that great. Chillies in chocolate just didn't seem to work for me. So I ended up making cookies with them!! Gave the cookies an interesting flavor for sure. Better than eating the chocolate straight. The peach and chocolate was a lot better, flavor wise. It actually had a catchy flavor but the gummyness of the peach pieces, I could have done without. Chocolove has over 20 flavors I would love to try! As it's always fun to try new chocolates, even if they don't turn out that well :)

After I picked up the chocolates, the Mr was scouring the ice cream isle. He doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, but ever since he went to Japan and tried the Black Thunder ice cream, he's been craving it since! We cannot find it anywhere out here in the U.S. (if you know of any whereabouts, let me know asap please!!) we've even requested it at Asian food marts nearby but since it isn't a popular or heard of ice cream, no one has brought it over :/ So anyways, while the Mr was looking at ice creams, he came across this "IT'S-IT' ice cream sandwich. He had secretly hoped this would fill his want for Black Thunder but that just didn't happen. It's vanilla ice cream smashed between two oatmeal raisin cookies and dunked in chocolate. Because he compared it to his love for Black Thunder, he despised this lol. After one bite, he gave it to me to eat. I thought it was ok... I've never been much a fan of chocolate dunked ice cream-like Dilly bars at Dairy Queen- But the oatmeal cookies inside were good.

Do you ever shop at Market of Choice?
What kind of goodies have you found?
